In a world increasingly shaped by screens and over-scheduled routines, children need meaningful opportunities to move, explore, create, and connect in real life.
Our program is intentionally designed to give children the kind of confidence, independence, resilience, creativity, and genuine friendship through active outdoor adventure and hands-on discovery.
Each camp offers a range of thoughtfully supervised Bay Area adventures. Pick from shallow creek, shoreline, or redwood exploration, nature discovery, kayaking, paddle-boarding, beach parties, horseback riding, and other fun options.
Program participants will enjoy imaginative play, collaborative games, creative projects, meaningful social connection in a warm, emotionally safe environment where children feel supported, included, and encouraged to grow.
What makes our camp special?
Bay Area Day Camp started as a summer day camp in 2010, with the vision of getting kids outside and active. Since then we've had families and groups reach out to us asking for year-round fun. We are answering that call!
With small group sizes and highly engaged mentors, campers develop communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, confidence, and independence - all while unplugged from screens and full immersed in the joy of childhood.
We offer a rare opportunity to experience the joy of movement, belonging, curiosity, friendship, freedom, and unforgettable memories.
