If your superpower is keeping kids engaged and excited about games and activities, then Bay Area Kids Camp is where you want to be!

Leader of the Fun: Enthusiastic & Awesome Kids Day Camp

We know that you don’t want a normal job. And this, my friend, is no normal job. Do you thrive getting outdoors and experiencing nature? What about seeing the joy on the children's faces when they’re playing and learning new things?

We are looking for a creative, fun and organized Leader of the Fun to join our growing camp. In this role, you will help to shape and educate our campers by instructing them on numerous outdoor activities and experiences. You will also collaborate with other counselors, create recreational plans and activities, and lead campers in fun-filled projects.

A Day in the Life of a Leader of the Fun:

At Bay Area Kids Camp, no day looks the same -- and that’s what makes every day a new adventure! To illustrate, we’ve written you a poem, and we hope you like it. :)

Adventures and places and things to do

Bay Area Kids is the job for you

From racing campers to jumping off rocks

To seeing the redwoods -- they’ll knock your socks off!

Following campers wherever they go

And petting a rabbit, a chicken and maybe a goat!

We’ve kissed the banana slugs and played in creeks

But nothing beats seeing whales and birds with big beaks.

Every day is different and adventure is new,

But we know for one thing:

Bay Area Kids is the job for you!

Why Bay Area Kids Camp?

We’re an enthusiastic team that works hard to create awesome, fun and engaging experiences for our kids. We’re passionate about learning and using play to learn about the world.

Here’s what our Leaders of the Fun are saying about working with CCKC!

“Bay Area Kids Camp is by far my favorite summer job I have ever had. I’m biased because I love hanging out with children, but there is truly something special about Bay Area Kids. It is a wonderful and energizing feeling to be able to play with children in such a non-confining, open environment. I love not having to say “no, we can’t play that game" or "this is what we are going to do today no exceptions.” Instead, I get say “yes,we can play that too!” and “what do you want to do today" It never ceases to amaze me how imaginative and enthusiastic the kids can be even if they’ve been to the same beach many times before and I love having the opportunity to be a part of that childlike excitement.”

~Mackenzie

“I love working at Bay Area Kids Camp. [The team] makes me feel so welcomed. We are like family here. The staff is awesome to work with, and the kids are great. I love having fun with them. This is the best job I’ve had!”
